We congratulate our members on an overwhelmingly positive vote for the 4-year Agreement for bus drivers in Newcastle.

The highlights of the Agreement include:

  •         11% pay increase over the 4 year Agreement
  •         52 week redundancy clause
  •          5 year no forced redundancy condition

We’re proud of our members for sticking strong in voting for this Agreement which will provide long-term security and better conditions for members. Despite the difficulties we’ve experienced over the last few months, we have stood together in solidarity and bargained for an Agreement which will benefit our drivers across Newcastle buses.
