Rally against O’Farrell government’s IR laws scheduled for Sept 8
Thousands are expected to rally on Thursday September 8 to send a strong message to the NSW government that they will not accept its unfair industrial relations laws.
The Sydney rally will be the last in a series held around the state demanding fairer wages and the return of an independent umpire to preside over industrial relations matters.
Every regional centre in the state has now participated in these rallies and now it is time to take the message straight to the government’s doorstep this September 8.
We want as many RTBU members to attend the rally as possible, and we want our protest to be strong and united. The RTBU will assemble at the Archibald Fountain at the Northern end of Hyde Park at 11am to join the march as a united RTBU presence behind the union banner, and with RTBU flags in hand.
